Pentify Insights in orbit and building momentum!
Welcome to the second edition of the Pentify Insights newsletter
The last 3 months have flown by, obviously meaning we’ve had fun! It was a quarter highlighted by several projects, including delivering a reporting automation project saving hours of manual work, and delivering phase 1 of a data strategy that has already shown tangible benefits and delivered previously unknown insights to drive decision making. However, this is only the start. We have more projects in the pipeline that we are getting stuck into in Q3 and beyond, helping our partners grow through smarter data and analytics use. As always, reach out to us to start putting your data to work, or even just to have a chat.
We hope you enjoy edition #2.
Q2 Thoughts: AI –Actual Information
Is the threat of Artificial Intelligence real?
The AI tsunami and the threat it poses to the future of the workplace continues to flood our newsfeeds. This is nothing new, but to what degree should our partners be worried about AI replacing humans in the workplace? If you listen to Elon, we should be very concerned! And whilst we are not here to challenge one of the world’s leading visionaries in this space, we think context to our clients in Australia is extremely important. The challenge is immense for our partners to transition to an AI-driven model. From identifying use cases and model training, to deployment and ongoing optimisation, companies require an almost sole focus on an AI strategy to give success the best chance. Even then, success is not guaranteed, not to mention this approach takes away from core business activities.
For our partners, AI should excite! But a practical and cautious approach is essential. The journey begins with identifying use-cases, then understanding the steps needed, including associated costs, to achieve desired outcomes. Crucially, incorporating any AI plans into your data strategy is essential for ensuring success. We love the promise of what AI can potentially deliver, we love our partners having the aspiration and desire to use AI to drive performance, however coupling aspiration with a practical understanding of AI is essential. For us, the future of AI for our partners centres on identifying strong use-cases leveraging a human-AI collaborative approach, where AI augments human capability, as we strongly believe it is the latter that remains the most essential asset to our clients.

Charity Fundraising – Dig Deep
Q2 has seen us work with several charities, which has been very rewarding. Like most, charities are feeling the cost-of-living pressures, and we’d encourage you to donate to your favourite charities if you can. If you’re looking for inspiration MS Plus and CARE Australia are two charities we’d encourage you to support, simply click the hyperlink to donate. Thank you!
